I must say I am in love with the Nokia N97 apart from the dated touchscreen technology which should have been better than the Apple Ipods touchscreen technology. However, the huge memory, the GPS feature, the cool widgets available and the Qwerty keyboard get me very excited. Some of the adverts really sell the N97 with its sexy look and numerous features. Also, the Nokia N97 Love Song which is dedicated to the N97 just shows to me as a young person that Nokia are a bit more in touch with the youth than the others. i think the track just sums up Nokia phones for me cool, hi tech and different as in a cut above the rest. Top spesifications on the paper! And that is why I bought it. But it has given nothing but a headace since I bought it. Now it’s dead, and Nokia won’t repair it. Sweat has been coming into the phone from the earplughole on the top of the phone. That is idiotic. A hole on the top of a phone! Water runs downwards! Even Finn’s must have experienced that. And then it is even more idiotic to market the phone as a sports phone N79 Active. This is just crap!

Hi,

I was looking forward to use the FM transmitter but couldn’t find this app anywhere in the n79 I recently purchased in Hong Kong. I also heard some countries do not allow FM transmitters, but doubt HK would be one of them. Any idea if this app can be downloaded?

Also, there used to be a ‘Wallet’ app in older nokia phones. Does the n79 have a similar app?

Really appreciate any help!

Hi,
I managed to do it. The problem was that when I tried to copy it the PCSuite crashed and now when I tried again it worked, and the playlist from the phone was updated ))))

Hi,
I purchased a Nokia N79 and I love it! I have a small problem, i managed to copy my mp3 files but when I try to create a playlist but I can’t add the copied files to the playlist. I didn’t had such a problem and I’m quite angry on myself. Could you help me out? I would appreciate it… Thanks

well, some may like having a smaller device. Other than that teh N79 runs on S60 3rd Edition FP2 wherby the N95 runs on FP1. More over the N79 overs a Dual LED flash and FM-Transmitter

the price of N95 and N79 is same so why should one buy N79 instead of purchasing N95???????
