Nokia 5800 XpressMusic: Camera-Test Part 1
Posted by Norman John in 5800 XpressMusic, N-Series, N96, Nokia

One of the most popular Nokia devices is the trendy Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. There are lot of high controversial discussions about this device. I want to test 5800′s camera in 3 parts. In every part we’re using the N96 to compare the results as the N96 brings neutral results. We are starting with the test in good or normal light conditions. Of course we know that we cannot compare these two devices but we really try to focus on the result of the 5800 and we use the N96 as a example only.

Verdict:
No surprise, the N96 takes better pictures however, the 5800 does its job pretty good. When there is enough light the 5800 brings quite good results. Especially, the macro-mode of the 5800 takes awesome pictures. All in all the 5800 cannot compete with the N96. In the next part we’re taking a look at the 5800 in low light conditions.
