Firmware v.31.0.016 available for the Nokia N82

n82 v31 Firmware v.31.0.016 available for the Nokia N82

It seems that Nokia tries to cover all their mobile portfolio with new Firmware updates. Now the Nokia N82 get the v32.0.016 update. As the N82 has UDP all data will be save on your N82 but back up your data anyway. Besides the usual bug fixes no changes are known. So please write a comment if you know some changes.

updated my silver n82 from 30.0.019 to 31.0.016,took time and many retries maybe because of poor net connection or whatever

cant notice any cosmetic changes,but most noticable change is the menu speed,much faster than 30.0.019,music quality also has change looks like added some bass,loudness and treble,realplayer remains the same,maps doesnt hang like some others reported,totally looks stable

NSU says there is no new firmware for my N82, it says 30.0.019 is the newest! What’s wrong here?

If I check the latest available firmware here http://europe.nokia.com/A4577224 with my code 0558321 it also says 30.0.019. What’s wrong here?

Well, not all the N82s are same., They are region specific like NA, EU, APAC, China, UAE, etc-. Looks like nokia have not released the firmware update for your versions.

My N82 is a APAC Version and when i check the link http://europe.nokia.com/A4577224, it does shows the update version as 31.0.016

You may have to wait for some time until Nokia releases the update for your region

I agree totally with you,the same improvements in my phone with the new software,the best part is the improved text writing.
