LightSabre for Nokia 5800 & N97

Light Sabre made its way to S60 5th Edition finally. Using the built in Accelerometer API of the N97 and the 5800 you can use your phone as a light sabre. It’s offering you several settings such as volume, sabre colour and more. This application is of course freeware and really funny when you show it to your friends.
Although it is developed for and tested on the Nokia 5800 only, it should works with 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2 devices like Nokia N96, Nokia N85, Nokia N79, 6210 Navigator, as well as to Nokia E66 which is based on the Feature Pack 1.
- IMPORTANT install to internal memory ( C:/) drive (known defect)
- For best results turn off auto screen rotation in phone settings (otherwise you’ll get lag in the sound when the screen changes)

hey i downloaded onto my phone memory on my nokia 5800 and after i installed it so when i went on to my applications i saw it there and i clicked on it bu tnothing happened it just stayed on the applications screen ……. is there a reason for this

It is a stupid application.
installed it but when launchd at applications, jst did nothing..so excited abt it but frustrating. Sob!

Same here – installed OK. Touch the app to launch and nothing happens. Sheesh.
Kleines Problem, wenn ich darauf klicke, nichts geschieht, bleibe ich auf dem Grund mit allem die anderen Anwendungen

es verdad lo instalas y luego nada de nada k lo arreglen o k no nos tomen el pelo.alguien sabe alguna pagina que si se pueda bajar y funcione. gracias.en zedge podemos tunear nuestro nokia5800 con un monton de temas guapos por si a alguien le sirve
it works on my muym n96 but not on my nokia 5800 i install it and still the same problem. wont launch. i thought it was ment for the 5800 especially
Install it to phone memory, as it is a known problem with the card installation.

I get the same prob as many others here – app installs but then won’t launch.
I think it is a firmware problem, seems to only work with V20, NOT V11 – which is what the phone is shipped with and what most people seem to have (Settings>Phone>Phone managment>Device updates). I’ve tried update using the update option in the ‘device updates’, but according to Nokia i have the latest version, which clearly i don’t.
I’m not sure i have the energy to fiddle with my phone to get this app working – IMO the developer should really either A) Fix it so it does what it says on the tin OR B) Give DETAILED instructions as to how to fix it oneself.
Those that CAN get it working, what version of firmware are you runningon your 5800XM?
Only interested in 5800 users here!
hye i downloaded a couple of things and all i get is a screen with a bunch of squares and little squigglies i ahev the newest firmare the v20. and it still do not work anyone know why none of these apps dont work ?? i’m dowlading straight from my browser.. some help pls!!!!!!!!

actually i am running v21. on my xpress..where is there a site where i can dowload apps like this that will actually work.. i live in the states and got a hold of this phone cause nokia are wickedly amazing phones and great OS. Symbian all the way..!!! but ya if anyone knows any sites to get freeware from pls let me know. here my email sk8tr_schmid@live.com
AL PRINCIPIO LO INSTALABA EN LA MEMORY CARD Y NO PASABA NADA. DESPUES LEI CON ATENCION Y DESCUBRI QUE SE DEBE INSTALAR EN LA MEMORIA DEL TELEFONO. FUNCIONA DE MARAVILLAS!!!! ES ESPECTACULAR!!!!
we got a same problem here, maybe there’s something wrong with the app
at first i copy the installer at memory card then installed it on to memory card…
the result: not working….
then i installed it to phone memory, the installer is on memory card…
the result: still not working…
then i place the installer on phone memory then installed it to phone memory…
the result: working perfectly…
hope this can help u all that cant install or open the application correctly…

Works perfectly on my N97. All i’ve done is put it on phone memory, with no updates
OK here is the thing: It is working but how do i make the hit sound? Soft itself says “Press Number key” but wtf? What number key? There are NO NUMBER KEY on 5800!!!

alguien sabe un lugar donde poder descargar, la aplicacion, de la huella dactilar, quitar el bloqeo con la huella q tiene truco. xD

i have a n97 mini and when i install lightsaber i have a message ” certificad expired” what is the problem ( i have change date but no solution)
