Nokia N97 in lates Black Eyed Peas Video

Product placing is a really popular thing nowadays. Recently the Nokia 5800 made quite a few appearances in music videos. From Flo Rida, Katy Perry to the Pussy Cat Dolls the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic been in a lot musician’s hands. Now, the Flagship Nokia N97 device also have been spotted in a music clip. In ‘I Gotta Feeling’ from the Black Eyed Peas you can see the black N97 for some seconds. What do you think about product placing? Do you like seeing phones in music clips or do you want them banned?

I think the product placement is ineffective,
No average American consumers really know about iphone. The truth is that they recognize LG, Apple, and Basic phones.
Windows Mobile, Symbian, Palm, and Android is not so prominent in America as they are in europe.
I do enjoy seeing Nokia’s in a lot of music videos, but I think it’s only as good as easter eggs for Nokia freaks.
Trust me, just because OUR network knows about phones, that doesn’t mean consumers do. We are a special group of consumers.
