Nokia N78 Receives New Firmware v30.014

1205242951 Nokia N78 Receives New Firmware v30.014Firmware season continues with more Nokia devices being given new firmwares. It is always good to see a company providing updates for their devices on a regular basis. Nokia never fail on this point and has just released a new firmware for the Nokia N78 taking it up to version 30.014. The update should be available via NSU or alternatively you can use the new Nokia Ovi Suite. It usually takes a while for the new firmware to show up on FOTA (Firmware Over The Air), so if you’re a little impatient when it comes to updates then head to your PC and start upgrading. As always we recommend updating the firmware as they are usually designed to fix bugs and enhance the device. The N78 should have UDP (User Data Preservation) but it is always a good idea to back up the data on your device before updating. No changelog as of yet so post your comments on any changes you experience and we will hopefully provide a detailed list of changes soon.

    * MMS Slides not shown in correct order
    * Connect with headset and activated silent profile when received SMS, the loudspeaker will play the music.
    * While listening music with HS, if a sms is received the speakers are enabled

    Localization

    * WLAN menu not in Italian language
    * Issue with easy wlan languague .
    * Camera cannot zoom in/out after changing phone language
    * WLAN shortcut and its submenu are not translated into Russian

    * Photo missing in gallery when change to simplifed UI
    * EDGE has “video sharing” in UI during the call but it doesn’t support it
    * No ZOOM function in RUSSIAN UI in SW ver. 21.002
    * UNABLE TO ZOOM WHILE CAPTURING THE PHOTO N78
    * N78 digital zoom in/out doesn’t work in SW 21.002
    * Missing Camera Capture Tone :While listening music with HS, if a sms is received the speakers are enabled

    Audio:

    * Cracking sound when using loudspeaker during calls

    my left keypad also cant be use sometimes n the camera sound cant be off.also keep hanging sometimes.camera cant zoom in /out.the speaker are not loud even it has double speaker.please help me.what firmware is the best can i use?

    “message symbol which is flashing” means i think your message box has full..try delete some messages

    There is a bug in this version whenever i play slide show the song or music never got play, only the pictures start moving but there is no sound.

    Raj i think u had already deleted messages and the symbol still appears..
    If so im very much sure about this problem solution..
    Your sim messages memory is full, delete messages from your sim.
    Your problem will be solved.

    Hi,
    I have my N78 updated with latest firmware but I have notices that loudspeaker does not work. I have googled a lot with lots of guys having the same problem. Is there anyone facing the same problem and has found the fix for the same??

    I wana say thankx to Jaffar Abbas,I was facing the same problem but now i fix it.
    anyway I’ve an other problem my phones’s display light time is 5 sec. only.
    Although i change its timing but solve it.
    ……….HELP…… me plz what should i do?

    How you updated your phone? My phone CANNOT be updated from version 12.046!!! And 12.046 is very buggy! FOTA and NSU says that is NO newer software, but it HAS! My friend has 30.011 soft on his phone! Write me an email to velizarcho123@abv.bg thnx!!
