The N86 seems to be a great phone. Does it support the divx & xvid formats. If yes, thoes it support the all versions of codec?

Thank you for your review. Although you suggest that the video editor has been secreted away by Nokia, it is, in fact, described in the N86 user guide, the one that can be downloaded from Nokia's website.

On page 50, it says:

"Edit videos
The video editor supports .3gp and .mp4 video file
formats, and .aac, .amr, .mp3, and .wav audio file
formats. It does not necessarily support all features
of a file format or all the variations of file formats.
To edit video clips in Photos, scroll to a video clip,
select Options > Edit, and from the following:
● Merge — to add an image or a video clip to the
beginning or the end of the selected video clip
● Change sound — to add a new sound clip, and
to replace the original sound in the video clip.
● Add text — to add text to the beginning or the
end of the video clip
● Cut — to trim the video and mark the sections
you want to keep in the video clip
To take a snapshot of a video clip, in the cut video
view, select Options > Take snapshot. In the
thumbnail preview view, press the scroll key, and
select Take snapshot."

So it does pay to read the manual sometimes.

Thanks again.

The upper slider often scratches his own back and the number buttons of the lower slider :-( after w while... It isn't nice and many people have this issue.

In this test you made no pictures of further objects like houses. Then the autofocus doesn't make a good job, especially toward the side areas of the picture. The landscape mode oversharpen the situation, but on an normal pc-monitor without zoom it looks definately better then Auto mode.

Flash photos and all photos in darkness need a very very still hand and very still objects in front of the cam of the N86 - patry photos from moving people are impossible, the N86 with its LEDs doestn't manage to fix the objects like Xenon flash.

But for me the best phone cam :-) but when you see all the good photos you start think in another dimension (yes I thought it wouldn't get better since the N95 i owned) and want more! Hope we get more with the software update mid-October !!!!
