  1. How can a DPad “turn” orange?! Doesn´t make too much sense too me, sorry!

    I have the white E71 for almost a year now and the white middle housing is starting to turn yellow around the edges. The white USB/ card slot cover has turned yellow after two months of use. That happens when the uses material is not up to the requirements.

    @Symbian60

    I don’t get your point? What do you mean?

    it’s white plastic with a rough surface… this means every time you press it you rub skin particles, sweat and dirt in those microscopic gaps, which makes the white colored surface appear orange… you get the same effect with black material, but it’s just not visible.

    I hope all the white color electronics trendwhores learned their lesson with this.

    If your hands are dirty it makes white go cream / yellow………espically if you smoke, like Xbox 360 (White) owners, if they smoke in their house the Xbox 360 goes yellow/cream.

    I should be getting a black N97 in next week or so i cant wait :D

    At least its not going yellow because its overheating!! Just make sure you wash your hands and lay off the cheesy crisps!!

    The N97 is a good looking phone and thats what people like. Most people who bought the n95 bought it for one of the features such as the camera but people are buying the iPhone because of the way it looks AND the features even though the majority of those features are bettered by other older phones!

    Also don’t always take the word of support centres as to whether a phone is good as they have a biased view since all they deal with is problems. If you ever ask a person who works on a helpdesk, for example for an isp, in most cases they would tell you to choose another company cos their’s have loads of problems, since that is all they deal with everyday! what they don’;t realise is the number of people who are not having problems.
