Truephone is a VoIP service provider and has supported Nokia’s S60 devices on their generic application for quite some time now. However, they have recently announced a new product, Truphone Local Anywhere, which is a service that gives you multiple local numbers with the ability to call anywhere, using local rates, regardless of which country you are in.

Truphone Local Anywhere will give you great value domestic calls, SMS, and data in your home country and low cost international calling to the world from your home country. Truphone will also now give you significant savings on calls made when abroad giving you the feeling of being local, wherever you go.

Personally I’m not too sure of how people will take to this service and if they are willing to give up on their current service providers. What do you think? Leave some comments below and let us know.
