Firmware Update: N95 v35.0.02 N95 8GB 35.0.01 Nokia N82 v35.0.002
Posted by Norman John in Firmware, Firmware update, N-Series, N82, N95, N95 8GB, NokiaThe Nokia N95, the Nokia N82 as well as the Nokia N95 8GB, all received a new firmware and have been updated to version 35. Unfortunately, we cannot report any changes at the moment but we try our best to get a changelog as soon as possible. Unlike all current Nokias the N95 and the N95 8GB do not feature UDP so that you need to backup all your data before updating the device. The N82 however, comes with UDP so that a back up isn’t needed. In order to upadte your phone use the Nokia Software Updater. Here the exact name of each firmware is:
Nokia N95 v35.0.02
Nokia N95 8GB 35.0.01
Nokia N82 v35.0.002

http://europe.nokia.com/A4305060 tells me, that for my nokia N95-2 (N95 8GB no firmware-update is available. Even Nokia Software Updater tells me, that V 31.0.0.15 is the latest one.

Felices Fiestas a todos
I updated my N95 8gb to V 35.0.01 and now it lags so much so don’t do it now. however if someone can help can u tell me.
Updated N82 today, looks good, somehow the speed of the menu seems to be improved. I would like to see the changelog very much.
new firmware N95 8GB V35.0.01 the menu still not full screen there’s still ‘Menu’ words on the top with the blue and green sphere really dissapointing >_<
can i download the firmware to my pc with out connecting my mobile?
I updated the Nokia n95 8gb with v35 four days ago, and reinstalled it again yesterday. It’s been an absolute disaster: it lags so badly that trying to open the Gallery causes a crash, and it’s gobbling battery: a full charge without doing anything particular lasts less than 12 hours.
On the upside, Maps is a bit improved (this is why I did the update) but the search function s still dreadful: 7 out of 10 times it fails to find any results for a perfectly normal address that my E71 finds with no problem at all.
IMO: avoid, don’t do it. I can’t see any upside.
n95-1
* Camera start up time is a lot faster now. It just took 1 sec for the app to start up and a quarter of a second for the sensor to stabilize.
* Pictures in dim light have definitely improved a lot. Couldn’t be sure of those in normal conditions though I suspect there is some improvement.
* Photo processing time is also a lot quicker.
* There’s now 92MB of free memory after the re-flashing. The firmware size has definitely increased.
* The music player loads up a split second quicker than with the v30.
* Not sure if hacks for this version has been released yet.
* NGage is still present even with the planned removal of the service.
Then after several tests with both my N95 8GB I can draw the conclusions that the firmware v35 is the TOP:
have pushed the CPU to the maximum without reducing the autonomy it from this morning at 8 (05/01/10) that trying to break, including wi-fi, phone calls, bench, install applications, and the battery is the best!
cell off and on again at 10 to 04 battery always up to …
I wondered if Ace JBenckmark by a 330MHz effective clock as screen then goes over the 330 because the models with single 396MHz CPU does not go beyond the 324 tested several times with my ex-N85 …
screen CPU:
http://yfrog.com/j2screenshot0001n958gbv35j
best I’ve tested:
- Overclock CPU (or at least the firmware has been optimized to take maximum)
- Autonomy improved
- WI-FI fast
- Broswer more stable and fast
- Audio headphone cleaner
- Reactivity software best v30/31
- Bug alarm fixed
- Improved acelerometer
- signal improved
Recommended!
call log bug fixed?

I am really fed up with Nokia N95 which i am having . I recently updated it from firmware version V 31 to the latest V 35 . After that i reinstalled all the important appllication like gmail etc . Now it lags too much . The application worked fine with V 31 but the latest firmware version V 35 lags a lot .It is very slow. I dont know why Nokia is spoiling it’s name in the market by doind idiotic things like these.I think they dont test the firmware versions which they release to the public. They do not have a proper testing service with them .I do think the other companies like Sony is far more better. I now only hope that Nokia release a very stable firmware version for the nokia n95 soon enough
I upgraded my N95 8GB from 20.xx.xx to 35.0.01. And i just discover a bug!
. I open the foto camera…i’m using it…and after press give “exit”….some distortion image appears for 1 sec., depends of my skin (default skins) , and some little square in wich i still see the camera image. Verry ugly image….to the old one i did;n have it..only a uniform color.
is this a lie about nokia n82 firmware update ? i have tried NSU tried to update, but i could not, cuz it shows the latest version is v31 , there is no v35.0.002 availbale for download, how can i update my phone ?
we guys but can are you do the link for the download by my n-95 8bg??
Well, who do I believe?: those that say that v.35 is the best, or those that say it introduces lags and bad performance? ? ? N95 8GB RM-421, v. 20.5.002. US, NYC area, AT&T.
