OMG, thanks for this, Nokia made it really REALLY difficult for it’s users! I use Ovi Maps for 2 years now and never though you can use coordinates

Here is the way to save landmark in Nokia N8
Open the nokia maps application.
Select Maps
Click search
enter the GPS Coordinates in the search files (for example: 24 20 01 n 55 20 55 e)
after selecting the position it will show on the map, on the top it shows the details,
press and hold the details, then it shows another menu with save option, just select save and name it.

I am using C7 and just found the solution.
Go to drive, click “set destination” and then click “Search”
Just type the coordinate there either in decimal or minutes

N8 Menu-aplication-search (find)-places and edit your favorite places (created in nokia maps before). After edit latid. and leng. Run nokia maps and use favorites.

Nokia C7 doesnt have “Landmarks”
it has only “Maps”
Then how to enter coordinates in it ????
and no updates are there neither landmark installation ??

does anyone know ??

The decimals/degrees really don’t matter, only the number between, right? And it works for the Scnadinavian version of N97.
Very useful instructions by the way!
