N82: Image samples

5 Megapixel, a Carl Zeiss lens, autofocus and a Xenon-flash. That’s Nokia’s newest camera-phone, the N82. I’ve taken some pictures to show you N82′s image quality. In my opinion are most the pictures awesome, just sometimes aren’t the picture so good.However, all pictures are sharp, bright and with lot details. What do you think about the quality?

The room was totally dark but using N82′s Xenon-flash you can see every detail.

    Wow, sieht echt gut aus! Wäre nett wenn du was über die Akkulaufzeit sagen könntest… Hauptsächlich in Bezug auf GPS und Wlan ;)

    Akkutagebuch -> sehr gut.
    TomTom v6 Verträglichkeit mit internem GPS (N95 hat da ja Probleme)
    Stereo Sound – nach eigenem Gehör testen (siehe ICQ ;)

    TomTom erkennt überhaupt keinen internen GPS-Chip und das liegt nicht an Nokia, sondern an TomTom, weil die ihr Programm nicht anpassen.

    Mich würde ein Vergleich der Fotoqualität zwischen dem N95 und dem N82 interessieren.

    Nice quality, but far from excellent – it has the terrible “Nokia syndrome”, meaning its JPEG compression isn’t that good and when there are many details present the phone simply blurs out everything making it very ugly (check out the pictures of trees and you’ll know what I mean).

    And it’s good to see that Nokia finally started using a proper flash when taking pictures!

    Why do you guys think the quality is awesome? There are rather compression artifacts than anything else. Or is this a mis-set compression value of N82 and can be adjusted?
    Your enthusiasm regarding the image quality is kind of shocking…

    Die Bilder sind voll mit Kompressionsartefakten und alle sind begeistert? Was für Sehgewohnheiten habt ihr denn?
    Oder liegt das an einer falsch eingestellten Kompression des N82?

    hmmm a little bit of improvement but it still looks blurry to me, typical nokia perhaps?

    Die Dateigröße ist auch viel zu klein für 5 Megapixel, bei einer 3 Megapixel-Cam ist die Dateigröße auch so um 1MB.
    Was ich hier sehe ist grauenhaft, Da schießt man lauter Bilder die man nie mehr sehen möchte.
