Today I receive a Sony Ericsson P1i. The P1i is Sony Ericsson’s latest UIQ Smartphone. It has W-Lan, a QWERTZ-keyboard, 3,2 megapixel camera with autofocus and a big touchscreen. This P1i is my first UIQ device and I think I need a day to get into the whole OS. All pictures and the video is taken with my N82.

First impression:
My first impression of the P1i is really good. The built quality of the P1i is pretty nifty – everything is solid. Besides that is it pretty handy and not bigger than an N82 or N95. The combination of two usage possibilities is great, so it’s possible to use only the scroolwheel and backbutton or use it via touchscreen. The QWERTY-keyboard works well and if one is used to it, one can write SMS or Word documents pretty fast.
