It worked! Thanks! Initially, I tried creating the 'resource' folder via bluetooth, and its erroring out. So I then created the folder via cable and connecting as mass storage...it then worked :)

Christian, i wonder if u can help me? coz im totally baffled...

iv followed ur guide to the T and all was well, but when it came to creating a new folder in my memory cards E:\ drive it wont let me rename it 'resource' and i think thats why it wont work for me but im not sure. i went ahead n copied my new 'fonts' folder into 'new folder' anyways but still didnt work?

any idea why it wont let me rename it 'resource'? any tips / advice / guidance would be excellent.

Thanks in advance.

when you install any software to internal hard disk like n91's hard disk , then we will not be able to access the hard disk as mass storage.Solution:
1.Switch off your phone
2. remove the back cover of battery (just the cover, not the battery)
3. re/start the phone. Since the phone's battery cover is removed the phones hard disk will not be detected.
4.once the phone is completely started, put the battery cover back again.
5. go to the application manager, and try to uninstall the font.
hope this helps

It doesn't seem to work for me (N78 fw 21.002). I tryed different fonts but the only effect is to make everything bold. Font "shape" doesn't change and also non-roman languages remains unsupported. Any suggestion is welcome :)

S60SC.ccc
S60TCHK.ccc
S60ZDIGI.ttf

For those who are having problems with S60SC.ccc and S60TCHK.ccc:
All you need to do is to change the file format on the font that you are going to use.
Here’s how:
1. Once you have chosen your font and renamed it to the following format:
S60SC
S60TCHK
S60ZDIGI
• the default format of the first 2 fonts would be:
S60SC.ttf
S60TCHK.ttf
and that’s the reason why it is not working.

2. Identify the file format:
• Open the “Fonts” folder that you created
• Go to Tools Menu > Folder Options> View
• Remove the check on “Hide extensions for known file types” then click on apply or ok
• Then you’ll be able to see the extension file types of the font, which was mentioned above.

3. Change the file extension:
• Right click the font named as S60SC.ttf and S60TCHK.ttf
• Remove “.ttf” and change it to “.ccc”
• There would be a warning message, just ignore it and click OK.
• Now, you’ve successfully change the file format of the 2 fonts to .ccc and you can now resume to the steps on how to change font on your phone.

- Hope this will help you guys out!

I have the same problem like Franky Kho (February 12th, 2008).
In my Fontsfolder on my Mobile, I have 7 *.ttf Files and two named S60SC.ccc and S60TCHK.ccc!
Are this two Files important to change the Font on my Mobile and the 7 *.ttf Files I must create or?
My mobile is a Nokia 6220 classic with Firmwireversion 03.23
Please answer my questions on my e-mail

Thanks and greetings from Austria

Dude, i have a Nokia E71. I understood every step but the problem I'm facing is that whenever I create the folder 'resource' in the root folder of my memory card, it doesn't wanna create it. Creating folders with different names work just fine but creating the 'resource' folder doesn't work. It keeps on failing. Solution required please...
