16 GB MicroSD HC card is working in Nokia-phones
John over at the German Telefon-Treff forums brought great news to us: The 16 GB memorycard´s by Sandisk will work in all Nokia-Phones with SDHC-compability.
That means: Nokia N96 with 16 GB of internal memory + 16 GB MSD-HC card = 32GB of memory in a phone!

Confirmation that 8GB+ will work in N Series and others
[...] I’m sure most of you already know that the theoretical limit for microSDHC is 32GB( Imagine that, 48 GIGABYTES on the N96) but there aren’t any 32GB in free circulation at the moment so confirmation is still needed. [...]

It’s a developement of Toshiba and Sandisk. The 16GB MicroSD will be at the market 2/4 of 2008, followed by the 32GB 3/4 2008. This is definetely confirmed.

Fake.
The OS never displays a memory card at its full capacity (16GB)
It would always display something like 15875 MB.
Sandman said this on March 26th, 2008 at 20:03
If you think it’s fake you’re an idiot and you’ve clearly not read the original post. If you’d actually bothered to go through the tremendious effort of clicking the link and READING, you’d realise it wasn’t fake. There are images of it running on other phones where the capacity is in MB. The reason it’s not showing up as MB in Symbian is because it’s over 10gb and therefore would be over 5 numbers in MB (at which point the OS moves up to the next highest unit of mesurement: GB). This is what happens when it goes up from KB to MB and this is what’s happened here.
