[Poll] Is everybody getting the Nokia N8?

After months of waiting patiently for the arrival of Nokia N8—but there were people who can’t wait, of course—we are finally down into days in getting the next Symbian^3-Nokia-multimedia-ultimate-affordable-smartphone. phew! Almost all fans can now pre-order their Nokia N8 that comes with variations of accessories in the sales package. We are not really sure about the marketing moves, but Europe might get a N8 that comes with silicone case, while Asia might have a free SU-36 Stylus. So awesome!

On the other hand, there were also lots befuddlement that are happening before the arrival, specifically that is on getting the right colour for N8. Currently, at the range of 5 different colours of anodized aluminium casing we have Orange, Blue, Green, Dark Grey which looks like a black one, and the Silver White. Picking the right colour for you is like picking for hot chick like Megan Fox against Jessica Alba or Keira Knightley. But I wish there would interchangeable casing and just change it when I got bored. Or just have Jessica Alba, Megan, and Keira together with you whilst relaxing in Caribbean. icon biggrin [Poll] Is everybody getting the Nokia N8?

So enough with hotness and awesomeness. I’m thinking that it would be better to start a survey and poll duo on the topic of Nokia N8. To those who were who already pre-ordered their Nokia N8 and to those not wanting to pre-order but preferred to get a queue on the stores soon.

If you got the N8 pre-ordered already, please hit up the poll below, same on the people who much likely to get the Nokia N8 in stores. And if you’re not getting it, what are your reason? already got an iPhone 4 or an Android? why?

    There’s a fourth option missing from this poll, specially for N97 owners:
    Not if the world was about to end, and they were the only handset still available.

    Im a N97 ….so Not if the world was about to end..One good thing came out of owning a N97, it was so s*** it pushed me to try a Iphone and don’t think il ever go back to nokia …unless they pull something really good AND tested out of the bag..

    + 1 for the N97 never again experience. Nokia should offer a trade in discount to all N97 pre V20 buyers as I spent 6 moths with a handset which basically failed to fulfil many staple phone functions such as holding onto phone calls and not crashing every day.

    No way would I buy any Nokia now without it being on the market for more than 1/3rd of a year without problems (that is if I consider a Nokia ever again after appalling customer service getting camera and GPS fixed then Slider fixed on replacement unit, 9 weeks in the end and 4 visits), by the time 4 months have elapsed after S^3 release (that is assuming it works) I’ll wait for S^4 rather than feeling gutted that I’m looking at the same old Nokia disorganised rubbish. Assuming Meego doesn’t have more hold for me.

    Certainly when I get off my contract I will be looking very closely at the other manufacturers offerings having moved from SE to Nokia because of SE’s problems/inability to get a smartphone out, I’ve been horrified by Symbian and feel I jumped from the frying pan into the fire.

    To all N97 owners.
    I can hear your pain. I know what you are talking about. I had N97 phone for some time as well. Let me tell you this. I have Nokia N8 right now. It is very good phone. I cannot see anything that remains N97 disaster. Stable, reliable. At this time it is not the “second N97 story”, it is really the best phone Nokia ever made.

    Nokia is making a great effort to promote the Nokia N8, so I guess this is already a reason why they are confident enough that N8 will not fail and follow the failures that they made on N97.

    Well, just two more weeks before the Nokia World 2010. So crossing fingers. :)

    I’m an iphone user, and I’ve been desperately sourcing for a better replacement of my crappy iphone before my contract expires in one month time. This N8 launch will definitely come to my rescue. Hooray!

    All we want to hear from Nokia if the Offical Release date of the N8,as we first saw it in April but still no sign of it being made available,just shows the Big mistake Nokia did letting the N8 to get leaked out to Early,Nokia are going to really bombared with Questions about the N8 an Why? an What as caused this mobile to be delayed for so long to create an release,an how are you going to compete if it taking you this long to release the N8

    Hi, I am from India. I have been Nokia’s fan till 2007 after which I did moved to HTC windows mobile and later 2009-2010 was android fan specially with HTC DESIRE & SAMSUNG GALAXY S.

    I am thinking of buying NOKIA N8 even though i know its not a android phone. But looking after some real powerful features it makes me to divert to NOKIA N8 by no choice.

    But now the problem is Nokia is continuously delaying the official launch of N8 for what ever might be the reasons.

    This shows either there are lot of bugs in OS symbian 3 or this guys are creating Hype for no reason.

    HTC has already came up with EVO by 8MP with 2.1 Android, Iphone 4 is already hitting market, Galaxy S, Wave have created such a big market share, and now very few die hard fans have left to purchase this N8. If nokia delays it more many of them would prefer taking some other phone. At least me..

    Another latest thing which has came up in market is N8 would launch in the month of October.. which is totally crap..

    I would rather go for some other phone if it dose not come in this month…

    Brilliant News At Last Today,the Nokia N8 going to be Released on the 23rd September in the U.k ,nok-nok.tv website have just leaked this Great News Out,so we see Nokia showing off the N8 an the London Event on 14th-15th September,an now got to choose the right coloured N8 to Buy
