Always late with your favourite TV episodes? Or you always missed the latest news and sports events? Well, you should be thanking Nokia now as they launch the first DVB-H accessory or the mobile TV headset.
The Nokia Mobile TV headset works as an accessory of your device, which is DVB-H capable that brings your local live TV free to watch in your phone. We’ve also seen it from Nokia N96 on how the DVB-H works. It works without your 3G network connection or Wi-Fi. The accessory also offers not only with the TV receiver functions but it has a channel and volume keys to make it easier for you to tune channels. Bundled with the accessory is free application to download free from Ovi Store or from Nokia.com/support. So just plug it and then it’s ready.

But currently the Nokia mobile TV headset only works to devices which have a USB OTG (usb on the go) feature like on the up coming Nokia N8 and other Symbian^3 devices. And we all know that the Nokia N8 would have a Web TV feature that is dependent in your 3G or wifi connection. So if you will have the DVB-H with you, it is still possible to watch free live TV in your phone.
The price of the mobile TV headset is €40 or equivalent to $50 and will be available at Q4 2010.
