Symbian-Freak has some good sources and so he provided his readers, including me, with a pretty hot news. He has some information and some spy pics of the first Nokia using S60 Touch. Nokia Tube, that’s the codename of this device, was shown at the Evans Date Developer Relations Conference in Redwood City. It is neither a Nseries device nor a flagship. However, the ”Tube” features a big touchscreen( bigger than 3” but smaller than 3.5”) with high resolution (16:9), a camera, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSPDA, and of course Wi-Fi. Other than the iPhone it won’t be support multitouch but tactility feedback. Anyway, let’s wait for further pictures and information. This device could be indeed the iPhone killer and bring even more users to Nokia and S60.

Here a little video about S60 Touch UI:

what really sux is that you need an pen..
I don’t think that you’ll need the pen. The icons look like you can ”touch” them with your fingers. Maybe the sytulus is just for people with thick fingers
It is just an option and it is necessary for the handwriting recognition.. . . .
You should read my S60 5th gen related article for more about interface itself:

You don’t NEED a stylus, it’s optional.
Let´s wait for how good the Touchscreen is. I would like a Touchscreen like in the iPhone.
it is so far from the simple interface of iPhone…
[...] you maybe noticed, there is a touchscreen-phone by Nokia with the codename “Tube”. Yesterday we already reported about it. Now there are new details of it [...]
