Nokia E66: Image samples

The Nokia E66 is a business orientated device but with a lot multimedia features. So you can find a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus on the back, together with a little mirror and with a LED about which we already reported here. Now I want to share with you some pictures I’ve taken with the E66.

Verdict:

In good light conditions the pictures are well but as soon as the light isn’t that good, the pictures become worse. More over, blur is a big problem on almost every picture. Let’s hope that Nokia will improve it with an new Firmware. All in all the pictures are good snapshots but there are still better camera phone such as the N82, N95, E71 or the E90.

    better than E71??! don’t the two have the exact same camera?

    btw, do you know if E66 speakers are louder than E51? as in for ringtones and message sounds?

    The E71 takes IMO better pictures. However, I guess with a new firware everything will change and both will take the same good pictures.

    E66 has a CMOS sensor…. E71 not (right?) but…. a phone is not made for pictures! i’ll never choose the E66 by the camera!!!

    As far as I know both have a CMOS sensor, that the sensor most teh phone use. Indeed, a real camera is still better but I like having just one device which can do almost everything.

    what about the speakers though? are the ringtones louder than on E51?
