Hi guys
The e66 is a good phone, i like it. The low battery usage time is a fact. and its bad.
I tryed some actions to gain some more power.
i turned to OFF the Display Rotation, at the display personalisation, and
turned off the Turn To Silent at the Tones personalisation. It helps.
I wonder why nobody took the idea to install a thicker batt with a diferent cover to solve this problem.

The battery of the E66 is just crappy ass !! I use my phone for just couple sms messages and a total call time about 30 min or max 1 hour. And all this is over in about 36 or max 48 hours :(

ooops... left un- off acceptable... or added an 'nt ...

i don’t think the battery is unacceptable - a compromise i accept to have all its features in such a small, sleek package, but i do wish it was better…

i recently replaced my e65 with an e66 (there was an iPhone in between for a few weeks, but it was useless to me). i'm a heavy user but don't make a lot of phone calls, ie, 3g is always on, i run mail for exchange, use it for remote access to servers over 802.11 and 3g (i work in IT), frequently tether to my laptop, and tend to use it for music for a couple of hours a day.
I have found that in both cases (the e65 and e66) the battery lasts me about 24 hours on a normal day, but that the level meter on the e66 seems to be a bit more realistic - it drops a bar every few hours at fairly regular intervals, where the e65 kept the full seven bars for about 12 hours and then lost them at an ever increasing rate, to the point where two bars means you have about half an hour...
i don't think the battery is acceptable - a compromise i accept to have all its features in such a small, sleek package (as opposed to the iPhone, which was bigger, heavier, couldn't do half the functions i need, and had only a reliable 8 hours between charges)... but i do wish it was better...
my first e-series phone was an e60, with the 850mAh, but i shoe-horned in the 1070mAh battery - i miss that phone, bit ugly, but the bl-6c in it made it a workhorse, and the hi-res screen was gorgeous!
