Can you able to use 701′s dual leds as torch by long pressing unlock key like c7?
When you switch on 701….do you have to wait for some time to have lag free operations? asking this cause for my c7  with anna i have to wait for some seconds after boot up of c7 to use phone at full speed!

I think it’s enough to have 680MHz. By October to Decemeber for this year. We just don’t have exact date.

I would like to see a comparison with the Nokia C7 and the Nokia 700. I have a C7 and at 130 grams is quite heavy for what was advertised as a thin handset. The Nokia 700 seems to be an ideal weight.

Hello, I’m afraid not as black as AMOLED screens of N8 and others. I still prefer the AMOLED though.

I have a C7-00 but in dark pictures or movies, the black is not correctly displayed. I belive is because in some black tones the amoled display turn off the led pixel, and you see pictures like they have pixelation.

The first phone with symbian Anna was the X7-00 on 12 April 2011, and the Symbian Anna update was on mid august… that is 4 months. I belive it will be similar for Symbian Belle update… about 4+ months… I think we will see Belle update on December2011 to January2012.

Sum 1 told me tat belle wont wrk faster lik Anna in c7 due 2 680MHz So for tat ll Dey do over clock d processes for 1GHz … It’s tat true ….. Rply plzplz

yeah, the 701, 700 and 600 will be snappier compare to C7. But of course it will still be snappy on C7 and other devices because of the optimizations Nokia made.

No, they won’t overclock it but they will optimize it.

Hello. I mean optimizing of putting Symbian Belle in a lower specs devices like Nokia N8. We know that Belle was first seen on 1Ghz and 512MB RAM devices like Nokia 700. So in order to make it smoother and fast too on N8, developers must need to optimize this to the users.

i own a ‘brown’ nokia c7, and i am very happy to buy this cool device.. its the best looking touchscreen phone from nokia.
i think there is a slight difference in looks between c7 and c701, as far as i have seen them in pics, c701 does not have that written beside NOKIA above the screen, whereas c7 is written near NOKIA above the screen,
second difference which i have seen in google images is – c7 shines more, has more lusture, whereas c701 has less lusture compared to c7 (stupid observation may be..lol).

Today, i.e 13/02/12, i am going to update my Nokia C7 Anna to Belle. Just while connecting my mobile using Nokia OVI suite, i found the firmware update prompt.
I will post the markable differences between Anna and Belle soon…

Im gonna buy the 701 but I’d prefer Symbian Anna on it.

I own a Nokia C701, and i am not happy with the symbian Belly , Because it dont support some of application like fring, I downloaded fring in my C701, for the 1st time it works but once you come out from fring & re-logon , Fring is not starting at all.

Symbian Belly is not a good , Nokia should replace with the Same Symbain Anna.

Please suggest if any alternate is available for download.

i’m little bit hasitate which to buy 701 or C7 , i heard that the 1 GHZ processor making some problems as the device will may over heated, does anybody know somthing concerning this problem?

I’m not aware about over heated 701, but I recommend the 701, I own a C7-00 and I love it and I want a Nokia 701 which is basically the same phone, but with better HW specs, and also it will get more firmware updates, probably Nokia Carla.
