I upgraded and had the same problems as anti-nokia user. I now get no gps signal and when I try to connect through wlan I'm told the connection is not available or there's already an active connection which i must close first. Nothing seems to remedy this. Also I'm told that the connection is not available when I connect through gprs. Please does anyone know how I can fix this? The internet features are the main reason I chose the E71 so please could someone please tell me how to either fix these issues or roll-back my firmware version on the phone. Thanks very much for any help anyone can give

hmm... I read reviews about the latest firmware and its a mixed spectrum of opinion. Was feeling brave yday and upgraded the my e71 via nsu.
One thing to note for power users, there is no hack yet for this new firmware - so if you are a die hard hackin fan, my advise is to leave this baby alone for the time being.

I notice a good overall improvement, things felt speedier and also improvement to the browser too. Rem there was a point when youtube upgraded to flash 9 and we mobile suckers are left high n dry? This firmware solved the problem! been waiting for it to be solved for a while now. Finally.

Sorry to hear about your update problems. I successfully updated mine and found phone responses to have improved nicely. You may have an isolated incident that may happen to a few others too but that doesn't mean it's a general problem. My WLAN and 3G settings are intact after restoring from PC Suite backup.

After upgrading to the above new firmware, I lost my WLAN connections, cannot even connect via my 3G connections. Lost my Nokia Email client too. Anyone who have yet to upgrade, DO NOT UPGRADE THIS NEW FIRMWARE!

If anyone who has and solved the problems above, kindly share your experience.

Presently looking for a solution or else, reset phone back to original firmware.
