Not only the Nokia N97 has been updated but also its little brother got an update. The Nokia N97 mini can now be updated to version 11.0.045 . Thus far v.11.0.045 is available via NSU only. Fortunately the N97 Mini sports User Data Preservation so that you don’t have to make a backup file

The software contains many fixes and improvements over v10 firmware including:
The Nokia N97 has just received a new firmware update taking it up to v21.0.045 (PR2.1). To get this software through your device you can follow our quick and easy guide which will give you everything you need to know. The Nokia N97 supports UDP (User Data Preservation) therefore all your data will remain intact, however we still recommend you do a full backup to ensure you do not lose anything.
The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic has been updated to firmware v.40.0.005 finally. Version 40.0.005 is currently available through the Nokia Software Updater only but the over the air update will follow in due course. This is a major update and brings a bunch of new features. One of which is the new kinetic scrolling feature. This works with all long lists but unfortunately not in the menu which is a big minus. Other than that it includes a new and reworked homescreen and the option to switch between numeric and QWERTY-keyboard by tilting the 5800 Xpress Music. As it has UDP none of your data will be deleted. Nonetheless, I recommend you to make a backup anyway.
Changes from 31.0.101 to 40.0.005:
Kinetic Scrolling
New Home “Contacts Bar”
QWERTY Keyboard Auto Rotation (on text input screens)
Removed Download! (Ovi Store still available)
Replaced “Update Application” with “SW Update” as on the Nokia N97
The Nokia E72 just have been updated to v.22.007. It’s available through the Nokia Software Updater and over the air. This minor update should fix minor bugs and should improve the overall performance. Further changes or improvements aren’t known yet. Fortunately, the E72 features UDP so that all of your data will be preserved. Nonetheless, we advice to do a backup to be on the secure side.
The Nokia N86 8MP has received a minor firmware update, taking it up to v21.006. New firmwares generally bring new features and bug fixes, so we recommend you update you devices. The Nokia N96 supports FOTA (Firmware Over-The-Air) so you can update your device easily by dialing *#0000# at the home screen then pressing options and check for updates.
If a new version is not yet available then try using NSU (Nokia Software Updater) as it generally takes a while for the firmware to become available over the air. The Nokia N86 does support UDP (User Data Preservation), but we still recommend you perform a backup just in case. There is no official changelog as of yet, so leave some comments below to let others no of anything new you experience.

The Nokia N95, the Nokia N82 as well as the Nokia N95 8GB, all received a new firmware and have been updated to version 35. Unfortunately, we cannot report any changes at the moment but we try our best to get a changelog as soon as possible. Unlike all current Nokias the N95 and the N95 8GB do not feature UDP so that you need to backup all your data before updating the device. The N82 however, comes with UDP so that a back up isn’t needed. In order to upadte your phone use the Nokia Software Updater. Here the exact name of each firmware is:
