Going a little off topic, I wanted to take a look at some connectivity tools and the best solutions out there. Connecting your device to a PC or laptop is an essential aspect for mobile users, whether its to back up your data, or simply send content to or from your PC. Most computers offer built in bluetooth technologies, however its usually at an extra cost or in a higher spec model, which again means more cost. The Nokia Booklet 3G is now exclusively available at Germany’s O2 stores for €249 on a €20 per month tariff over 24 months. So if your in the market or just have to get your hands on one, then you better hurry to your nearest O2 store now. Just to recap, powered by the efficient Intel Atom processor, the Nokia Booklet 3G delivers impressive performance with up to 12 hours of battery life, enabling people to leave their power cable behind and still be connected. Delivering the rich experience of a full-function PC inside an ultra-portable aluminum chassis, the new mini-laptop weighs 1.25 kilograms, measures slightly more than two centimeters thin, and is fully integrated with the Ovi services.

We were only just recently informed that the Nokia Booklet 3G will be available in German from 22nd October, and today we can confirm that the US will also be receiving their Booklets before the end of the month. The prices for an unlocked and sim free Booklet is around $599 before subsidies. However At&T will be offering the device on a two year $60 a month tariff, with a unit price of just $299, and will be sold exclusively at BestBuy. Today Nokia and Microsoft announced a new alliance in which the will working on design, development and marketing of productivity solutions. This is bringing Microsoft Office and other Microsoft business software to Nokia’s smartphones.
The worldwide leader in software and the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer have entered into an alliance that is set to deliver a groundbreaking, enterprise-grade solution for mobile productivity. Today, Microsoft Business Division President Stephen Elop and Nokia’s Executive Vice President for Devices Kai Oistamo announced the agreement, outlining a shared vision for the future of mobile productivity.
