Thus you always have the latest results, stats and all information you need. Point your browser either to mobile.formula1.com/download to download this freeware application or download it straight on SymbianWorld. This application works on all S60 devices like the Nokia N97, X6, N95, E90 or the Sony Ericsson Satio.

Snowboard Hero is, as the name already hints, a snowboard game with severl game-modes. You can choose between speedrun, freestyle and a race. Basically, it is supposed to run on S60 3rd Edition devices only, however, it’s also possible to run it on touch-enabled devices. In this case you would have a onscreen-keyboard to control the game. If you own a Nokia N97 or a N97 Mini you can disable the onscreen-keyboard by going  to settings. Then open the App Manager,go to installed apps and find the game. Finally go to options, suite settings, on-screen keyboard and than change to OFF.

Download the game to your Nokia N96, Sony Ericsson Satio or your Samsung Omnia I8910 HD and enjoy the game.

Good 3D games for the S60 5th Edition platform are rather rare. However, Polarbits is offering  three high quality 3D games: Raging Thunder (car racing game), Wave Blazer (power boat racing) and Armageddon Squadron (arcade flight simulator / shooter). Despite the good quality those games are free of charge. There are several gaming modes supported. A multiplayer-mode is also included. What we really like is the game-control. Using the accelerometer API you can control your boat, aircraft or car easly. Take a look at our video to see how the games work. These games work on all S60 5th Edition devices such as the X6, N97 or the Satio.

The Nokia Beta Labs have just released a fix to the pre-Beta touch version of Nokia Image Exchange that was released earlier. The original version unfortunately had some issues that needed immediate attention. The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic has been updated to firmware v.40.0.005 finally. Version 40.0.005 is currently available through the Nokia Software Updater only but the over the air update will follow in due course. This is a major update and brings a bunch of new features. One  of which is the new kinetic scrolling feature. This works with all long lists but unfortunately not in the menu which is a big minus.  Other than that it includes  a new and reworked homescreen and the option to switch between numeric and QWERTY-keyboard by tilting the 5800 Xpress Music. As it has UDP none of your data will be deleted. Nonetheless, I recommend you to make a backup anyway.

XpressCut is a simple but powerful application to cut and save songs directly on  your S60 5th Edition phone. Open XpressCut, select a song, set the start tag and the end. Once you pressed the save button it will create a new file and save the song. The quality of the new created file is good and can be send to your friends or can be used as a ringtone. Apparently, XpressCut is based on Phython and requires at least Python version 1.9.7. Install Python first and then XpressCut.

If you want uninstall multiple apps on a S60 device you can do it only one after the other, not several at once. This  is without a doubt a pain and takes some time.  With BatchUninstall, developed by Think Change, you can uninstall multiple application at once. You just need to select all apps you want to uninstall  and click ‘Delete Selected’. Batch Uninstall works on all S60 5th and 3rd edition devices.

Finally the folks of Microsoft have released an official Windows Live Messenger (MSN) application for all S60 5th Edition devices. Compared to applications like Fring or Nimbuzz it comes with a better interface and more Windows Live functions. Thus you can see all you contacts details including the status message and image.  So, if you own a Sony Ericsson Satio, Samsung Omnia HD, Nokia N97, 5800 XpressMusic or any other S60 5th Edition device you can download it for free.

How often have you accidentally disconnected your headset from your phone? This is really annoying, especially when the music is disturbing others around you. Now we found a useful application that will stop the music as soon as you disconnect the headset. ‘For Your Ears Only’ is a simple application so it has no fancy UI. Rather it’s a prototype that should be implemented in further devices. Unfortunately ‘For Your Ears Only’ does not have an autostart function. Nonetheless, if you have this problem from time to time you should install this freeware application. It works on all S60 5th Edition devices such as the Nokia N97, 5800 XM, 5530XM and all other.

Igor aka kAIST is without a doubt a really talented developer. Now he brought us a new and powerful drawing application. XpressSketch works on all S60 5th Edition devices such as the Nokia N97, 5530, 5800, X6 and the 5230. Although there is a lot effort in the software it’s completely for free. As already said, XpressSketch isn’t a simple drawing app but rather a powerful drawing tool offering following features:
