If you want uninstall multiple apps on a S60 device you can do it only one after the other, not several at once. This is without a doubt a pain and takes some time. With BatchUninstall, developed by Think Change, you can uninstall multiple application at once. You just need to select all apps you want to uninstall and click ‘Delete Selected’. Batch Uninstall works on all S60 5th and 3rd edition devices.
Skype have finally launched an official Skype application for S60 3rd Edition. The limited beta application runs on all S60 3rd Edition devices and can be downloaded here.
Just like the desktop version if you can call your sykpe contacts, write IMs, sent files and much more. It looks and works pretty good. Skype for Symbian works over Wifi or 3G data connection. We recommend having a unlimited data plan when using 3G connection.
Today Nokia andQt released the Beta version of Qt 4.6.0. Qt is a cross-platform application and UI framework. Using Qt, one can write applications once and deploy them across desktop, mobile and embedded operating systems without rewriting the source code. The beta runs on S60 3rd Edition as well as 5th Edition devices. I’ve installed it on my Nokia N97 and it looks really impressive. The focus of this release has been to stabilize the Symbian port, as well as adding a backend for the Phonon multimedia library enabling simple audio and video playback. The “Colossus” beta-release contains QtCore, QtTest, QtGui, QtNetwork, QtScript, QtSvg, QtWebKit, QtXML and Phonon as well as documentation and examples and demo.

Do you remember games like Sonic The Hedgehog? More than 10 years ago games by Sega were really popular and I believe they still are. If you would like to play these games on your S60 handset today is your lucky day. I’ve found an emulator which allows you to play .smd and other files. Smd is a rom file for the sega megadrive. This tutorial works on both, S60 3rd and 5th edition handsets. However, as you need keys to control the game the Nokia N97 is the only S60 5th Edition device which you can use. Nokia Easy Meet just had been introduced by Nokia Beta Labs.Nokia Easy Meet is an intuitive mobile collaboration tool that allows for real-time sharing of content using mobile devices as well as PCs. The service is extremely easy to use. In fact, no software download is required for any device. All you need is access to an Internet browser. From either a PC or a mobile device, the user simply has to enter the Nokia Easy Meet URL and then create a meeting. The service supports regularly scheduled as well as ad hoc meetings. Once you create a meeting, the service sends out an email and/or SMS to each participant. With just one click, each participant can join the meeting and view the content shared by the host. Content can come directly from the host’s device or from remote servers (via OVI Files). Unlike many other web-based collaboration tools, Nokia Easy Meet allows mobile devices users to fully participate in the service. Mobile device users can see, interact with, and share content directly on or from the device. By providing complete functionality to mobile devices, mobile participants aren’t at a disadvantage in the meeting setting.

I am a user of Nokia mobile-phones for several years by now. Actually I had many problems with the build-quality and other issues of all the phones by Nokia I have used. Unfortunately the time has gone by and not much except the features has changed. So I decided to write a post about all the issues I am „enjoying” with the company Nokia.
As you may know there are many codes which can be entered in the home-screen of your Nokia S60 device, e.g. to see what firmware your device has. Because there are so many of those, and not everyone does even know of them, we decided to write this guide for you.
Some of the following codes can reset your phone or change settings, so please make sure to know what you’re doing with entering a code – there’s a description below every code, read it first! Besides the following codes we also give standard knowledge like how to open the Task-manager or switch the profile in an instance.
Let’s start with the N-Gage news. Now also the Nokia N78 and 6210 Navigator are officially compatible with N-Gage so that if you own a N78 go here and if you own a 6210 Navigator head here. Today’s second news is the update of Share Online. It has been update to version 4.0 now and brings a hand full new features or changes which you can find below. Yet just the N96, 5320 XpressMusic, 6220 Classic and the 6210 Navigator are supported. However, more phones will follow soon. Head over to download Share Online 4.0.
