Skype have finally launched an official Skype application for S60 3rd Edition. The limited beta application runs on all S60 3rd Edition devices and can be downloaded here.
Just like the desktop version if you can call your sykpe contacts, write IMs, sent files and much more. It looks and works pretty good. Skype for Symbian works over Wifi or 3G data connection. We recommend having a unlimited data plan when using 3G connection.

Do you remember games like Sonic The Hedgehog? More than 10 years ago games by Sega were really popular and I believe they still are. If you would like to play these games on your S60 handset today is your lucky day. I’ve found an emulator which allows you to play .smd and other files. Smd is a rom file for the sega megadrive. This tutorial works on both, S60 3rd and 5th edition handsets. However, as you need keys to control the game the Nokia N97 is the only S60 5th Edition device which you can use.

Zeemote recently announced that their Zeemote JS1 Bluetooth Game Controller is compatible with a wider range of devices. The latest release of the Zeekey application is also available and allows the Zeemote JS1 Bluetooth Game Controller to expand upon its current mobile device compatibility, with all Nokia S60 3rd and 5th Edition devices now being supported. The Zeekey application will also enable users to control other applications on the device, including the music player, navigation and web browsing.
