cheap verizon phones

After four months of waiting i finally managed to get ahold of (for myself) a black Nokia N97 and even though it is pritty big, but not as big as an iphone, i am still very impressed with it. So to celebrate (me finally getting one) i decided to post a few pictures of it for everyone to see – as seeing the same old “stock” shots do get bery boring.

The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic phone is one of the latest “budget” touchscreen devices to hit the market, and i managed to get ahold of one from “Carphone Warehouse”, as not only has this phone recently been released in the UK – but it is exclusive (for the moment) to Carphone warehouse in the UK, so to celebrate its arrival i decided to share my thoughts about the phone. Majority of people know what a Nokia N81 (8GB Version) looks and feels like as 2 years ago it was the talk of the town with its nice 8GB HDD, 3.2 Megapixel Camera, Mini-Jack for standard headphones and one of the “main” phones for N-Gage gaming. Well this N81 is slightly different as its the Limited Edition Star Wars version, and this is what it looks like. Read the rest of this entry »

To celebrate Norman getting his hands on a “Nokia 5800 – Nokia Comes With Music” Edition phone i have decided to take a step away from N-Gage related posts and post a handful of pictures of my own personal Nokia 5800 for which i have been using for the past 2 months. Introduction

The Nokia N85 was announced at a virtual event held by Nokia on the 26th August 2008. This was about half a year ago, but now we finally got our hands on this black diamond.
Looking at it features, the device is very similar to N95, but it also has the design and gaming-features of the N81. So you can say the N85 is a mixture between both. A new thing, which we haven’t seen in a Nseries-device before, is the 2.6″ OLED-screen. This technology promises that black now finally is really black (which means that it is darker than in the screens before), it needs less battery and the colors are closer to the reality. However, the N85 does have a big amount of features, to name just a few: FM-transmitter (to stream your music from your mobile phone straight to your radio), 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss Optics and dual-LED flash, VGA video recording at 30 frames per second, dualslider (known from the N95), S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 and W-Lan.

I just received the Nokia N85 and as usually the first thing we do here on Symbian World, is to make an unboxing video and pictures. The video below is also available in HD, to watch it click here.
The Nokia N85 seems to be a mixture out of the N95 and the N81. Its box mainly advertises the N-Gage gaming abilities of the device. It comes with a few pre-installed trials of N-Gage games which you can play. You can activate the game you like most for free with a code that comes with the device, so that you have a full-version and not just a demo of it.

A few days ago I received the Nokia E71. The device has a chromed housing, is pretty small and has everything a business-user needs. Starting with a full QWERTY-keyboard over a 3.2 megapixel camera and a big landscape display it is just great. As usually the first thing I’ve made is an unboxing. Enjoy!

As I wrote in my last post the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic comes closer and closer every day. Now, I finally received a trial unit and I’m pretty impressed so far. The first S60-Touch device features a 3.2” touch screen with a resolution of 640×360 pixels, a 3.2 megapixel camera with Dual LED, Carl Zeiss lens and autofocus. As always you find the unboxing and short hands on video along with some pictures here on SymbianWorld. If you have some questions please post all your questions.

A few days ago I received a XpressMusic device…Oh sorry, I don’t mean the 5800 but the 5320. The 5320 features a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, N-Gage and some other standart features. As you can tell the 5320 isn’t a killer device but neverthless it has some really special aspects which I’ll cover in the next few weeks. As always my first post is a unboxing and hands on post feautering a video and some pictures. Is there anything you want to know about the 5320 XpressMusic? If so, please leave a comment.
