@louise thanks for the guide to get the zipped files working. its perfect. still looking to get an adobe reader for my N97. anybody have any luck? would be a real good app to have on the phone

Dear All,
Could you please help me on how can I install these application from the phone itself as each time i try to install it from PC suite, it hangs.

by the way I am able to copy installer into phone into any folder (such as others or install)

I will appretaite any help or assistance.

Ok I have sorted the problem I had with a little help from good old google
for everyone else who doesn’t know how to install zipped files on to your phone

when saving the file save it as ‘All files’ using the drop down box.. instead of zipped file, before clicking save add .jar to the end of the file name and then click save
you can now transfer to your phone and when you open the file it will install

Hi thanks for the great Apps…I’m having trouble with 2 though… the free flight and dodge this came in zip files i unzipped them on my computer and transfered them to my phone then opened up the file expecting them to install and they didn’t…how do i install both of these

Ahem.

Great page, but it’s loading 14.4 mb of data I take it it’s all the screenshots.

I’m using a wifi connection os it’s not a biggie, but my phone crashes when this page loads, insufficient memory.

I’m pritty surprised b/c I did a hard re-set 30 mins ago and havn’t installed anything else on it. I went to this page on my mobile b/c the PC suite app is REALLY unreliable. I’ll have to download the apps from here and add it to the phone.

Just a head’s up really. Maybe if you’re using a bunch of screenshots again you should pass the images throught photoshops Save for web, as even FF and IE will groan with 14mb of image data. Well maybe 4/5 years ago, but still they are too heavy for the n97’s browser.

Some of the images are nearly 200k, for a image of this rez, that’s pritty high.

However, as I said at the start GREAT, and I mean REALLY GREAT, page. big thanks.

Piano is not the right version for N97. The version uploaded here will not display the keyboard fullscreen, it shows the Onscreen controls which occupies half the screen length. To get the right version u have to download it from Ovi.

can’t get the touch piano or touch guitar to work. when i try to turn off the on screen controls in the installs apps section, there’s not suite setting available…

Hi, I’ve been looking all over for a good time keeping / hour recording software for Nokia N97. I found ‘Punch2Go’ at handango.com but the site says that program doesn’t work with the N97 phone. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Can somebody help me with Xpress beer that is the only app that doesn’t work. When I start up Xpress beer it say’s something like this:

I hereby confirm that all Torch applications like BrightLight, Strobe, PhoneTorch etc. are working perfectly on my N97.

For these apps to work perfectly on N97, you need to slide the Camera lens cover. Please remember sliding the camera lens cover will automatically open the Camera Application. You need to exit the camera app. After exiting the Camera app, you should open the apps BrightLight or Strobe or PhoneTorch etc. etc.
