
As one of the luckiest bloggers that WOMWorld brought in Hong Kong last week, Nokia showered us with a treat of bringing the newest Nokia smartphones to try out for couple of weeks so I chose the Nokia 701 to try whilst my other friends went to Nokia 700 and 600. Nokia 700 has the brightest screen with 3.5″ IPS display with CBD technology, 1Ghz CPU, 512MB RAM, 8MP camera and running on Symbian Belle.

Beta Labs guys are happy to announce another updated Nokia Maps with new features and improvements. The version 3.08(12) brings weather forecast in your own mapping system and new installation UI. The update also brings improvements on the live traffic routing on your Drive screen as well as on the search results. One crash issue has been resolved in this update.

Downloading and installing apps on your Nokia smartphones are now much easier, thanks to the updated Nokia Drop. With the latest Nokia Drop you can now alternately download and install apps from Ovi Store directly and wirelessly to your device. It’s another method from Ovi Store in your device, direct download to your PC, and SMS.

Found this Nokia China video and I thought of sharing it to you all to give some glimpse on how you can use the NFC soon once it’s out. It’s Chinese but there’s translation and the soundtrack is English. This video is made actually to promote the NFC on Nokia devices but Nokia China had a little touched on this one and made this video cute to see.
